I'm a former wax my legs and shave in a hurry kind of gal. Which normally meant shaving because waxing took an entire afternoon. Smooth, fine, light colored hair is nowhere to be found in my genetic lottery. Instead, I have thick, coarse, dark brown hair which means my legs are smooth only for a few glorious moments after the shower. In the spring and summer, I was shaving my legs daily and they were looking like a tanned cactus more than a smooth goddess. However, with sugaring, while it's longer than shaving; way less prep and time than waxing and I'm seeing stubble free legs for 3-4 weeks and the hair that's coming back is finer. I'm horrible with the flicking technique so I use strips but I went from the Safiya Medium to Mandisa Soft and it went from great to I'm never going back. I'm back in shorts, skirts, dresses and the husband loves that I'm no longer attacking him with sandpaper legs.
